HRACC

HRACC = Hotel & Restaurant Approval and Classification Committee

HRACC is a government body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, responsible for the approval and classification of hotels in different categories across the country.

It ensures that hotels maintain standard facilities, services, safety, and hygiene according to their star category (1-Star to 5-Star Deluxe).

Purpose of HRACC:

1. To maintain uniform standards of accommodation and service in Indian hotels.

2. To help tourists identify hotels based on quality and comfort level.

3. To encourage hotels to improve facilities, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.

4. To promote India as an international tourism destination by ensuring world-class hospitality.
